34th Annual Crime Stoppers Conference
The 34th Annual Crime Stoppers International Conference will be in Barbados on September 29 - October 2, 2013. With the theme of “Reinventing for the Future, the 2013 Conference will be a milestone in the history of the Crime Stoppers movement.
Crime Stoppers delegates, law enforcement partners and other stakeholders from around the world will come together with discuss three top issues of international importance and determine the various interventions that will be embarked upon.
The three areas of strategic focus are:
- Crimes Against Children and Trafficking in Human Beings
- Intellectual Property (IP) Crimes and Trafficking in Illicit Goods
- Corruption, Financial Crimes and the Financing of Terrorism
Delegates will also have the opportunity to attend small, operational workshops to acquire hands on skills in the areas of social media, investigating IP Crimes, human trafficking, strategic planning, and other topics.
