Strategic Objectives

1) The creation of a Secretariat to be based in Barbados. The goal of the Secretariat is to oversee the day to day operations and development of Crime Stoppers within the region and providing support to National Programmes.

2) The development of a minimum of four (4) new National Programmes per year as to ensure that Crime Stoppers is operational in 30 countries in the Caribbean by 2017.

3) The development of relationships and partnerships with regional/international agencies.

4) The continued development of the Region’s Call Center based in Jamaica.

5) To institute an Annual Conference and Meeting for senior representatives of each Crime Stoppers programme within the Caribbean/Bermuda & Latin America Region to discuss and address items of common interest and identify ways we can help to combat cross-border crimes.

6) To assist National Programmes in the implementation of community youth based initiatives.

7) To assist National Programmes in the implementation of community based initiatives which will complement Citizen’s Security & Neighbourhood Watch programmes thereby making Crime Stoppers accessible and “tangible” to residents and citizens.
