A number of businesses were hit by a string of robberies that took place at a local shopping plaza on Wednesday night.
Shortly before 7:30am on Thursday, officers responded to a report of multiple burglaries at a shopping plaza on North Sound Road, near the Butterfield Roundabout. Four businesses at the location had been broken into overnight and cash stolen from registers.
The matter is currently under investigation and anyone with any information is asked to contact George Town CID at 949-4222.
